Zabolotny of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 popup.description2 The work is devoted to the current problems of studying the functional and biosynthetic activity of the soil microbiome of natural and anthropogenically modified ecosystems, developing the fundamental foundations of modern biotechnologies of using soil microorganisms to increase plant productivity, biocontrol of pathogens, cleaning soils from xenobiotics, restoration and sustainable development of agroecosystems. High corrosion activity of sulfate-reducing bacteria from technogenic ecotopes has been established, associated with changes in the fatty acid composition of lipids with a high degree of saturation of fatty acids and a decrease in the fluidity of cytoplasmic membranes. New microchip test systems for real-time PCR with an efficiency of 57-81% have been developed. The relationship of the synthesis of Streptomyces netropsis IMV Ac-5025 polyene antibiotics, phytohormones and steroid compounds has been revealed, allowing biotechnologies to develop multifunctional drugs. The priming effect of the biopreparation Fitovit on plants was shown. The ability of new strains of endophytic bacteria to synthesize phytohormones, exhibit biocontrol properties, and be highly efficient in increasing the productivity of symbiotic systems was established. The effect of hexachlorobenzene and hexachlorocyclohexane on the microbiota of various soils was studied and ways of their restoration were developed. The selected strains of Comamonas testosteroni UKM B-400 and B-401 were found to have high resistance to pollution, due to a complex of adaptive reactions, and the ability to bioremediate contaminated soil with a reduction in the content of pollutants by 82%. Biotechnological approaches to intensification of the synthesis of a complex of phytohormones and surfactants by strains and an integrated waste-free technology for obtaining complex biopreparations for plant growing were developed.
