The obtained coefficients of the equations reflect the nature of methane changes: cubic and quadratic components regulate the influence of longwall coordinates on the methane volume, linear components determine the main trend, and constants set the basic level of methane volume. It has been proved that the frequency characteristics of the electrical parameters of a compressed coal powder tablet and a plane-parallel fragment of undisturbed coal of comparable area and thickness differ due to additional effects of Maxwell-Wagner polarisation arising at the boundaries of differently oriented powder grains. By the method of simulation modelling, the regularities of changes in the state of the massif when it is saturated with polymers near the underground workings, which are determined by the geological structure (thickness and sequence of rock layers) and the scheme of polymer strengthening of the massif section, have been established, which allows analysing the informative parameters of the stress-strain state of the rock massif, predicting the state of the geo-environment and its changes under the influence of polymer saturation. The regularity of the decrease in the numerical coefficient of proportionality between the velocity and the square of the particle size according to the inverse power function depending on the density is established. For the first time, the law of the ratio of the free-fall velocity to the compressed velocity is also proved to increase according to a power law with increasing density.
