The decrease in the number of viable colonies of bacteria with increasing concentration indicates a dose-dependent effect of the studied fullerene solutions. The antimicrobial activity of fullerene solutions remains moderate even at the maximum concentration (8.0 mg/ml), which indicates their potential safety for non-target microorganisms. The fullerene solution K600 (6.0 mg/ml, batch P35) demonstrates a bactericidal type of action against the conditionally pathogenic microorganisms Staphylococcus aureus (gram-positive) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (gram-negative) at a concentration of at least 6.0 mg/ml.
