The purpose of the work is to study historiography, source base and theoretical and methodological studies in the context of historical, geopolitical, economic and socio-cultural processes in the Central and Eastern European region, with a simultaneous analysis of the place of Ukrainian history and historical science in them. Research methods are an interdisciplinary approach, the use of methodological tools of the history of memory (memory studies), as well as historiography, sociology, political science, psychology, historical didactics. Results and their novelty: (1) A theoretical model of the study has been developed, in particular regarding the use of new spatial concepts; (2) Developed own scientific hypothesis, which consists in a comprehensive approach to the functioning of paradigms: history, historiography and historical memory; (3) Research source base, both domestic and foreign origin, was processed; (4) The obtained results were published in 39 publications, including 33 publications in professional publications of categories "A" and "B"; (5) 9 scientific conferences, symposia, "round tables" of various levels were held. Recommendations for the use of the obtained results: implemented in the educational process of several higher education institutions of Ukraine.
