The catalogue is designed to reveal the quality, completeness and competitiveness of the museum exhibition itself, as well as all the features inherent in the museum exhibit: material, form, content, design, size, manufacturing method, author's affiliation, social and ethnic environment, historical, memorial and other significance. In the practice of museum work, catalogues are created in the form of separate publications. For example: catalogues of museum collections, catalogues of individual expositions (exhibitions), as well as working catalogues in the form of scientific and reference files (systematic, thematic, subject, nominal, chronological, etc.). The purpose of the study is to investigate the material and spiritual culture of ethnic groups of Prykarpattia through the development of the museum's ethnography exhibition collection and to make these museum collections accessible to a wide range of consumers: from researchers to connoisseurs of Ukrainian culture, to promote the museum's scientific, educational and upbringing work by introducing visitors to the collections.
