The directions, approaches and mechanisms of Ukraine's foreign policy under these conditions were determined. Proposals were prepared for the effective implementation of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration course. The rise of the position of the the so-called Global South nations in international relations was analyzed, taking into account changes in the approaches of Western states; changes in the attitude of the leading actors of the Global South, as well as China, to the large-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. An analysis was made of the directions and instruments of Russian foreign policy aimed at international support for its aggression against Ukraine and confrontation with the West, the creation of new and development of existing global and regional alliances by the Russian Federation, the regional dimension of preserving and expanding the geopolitical influence of the aggressor.
