This document defines the requirements for the equipment, its functional characteristics, performance parameters and operating conditions. Taking into account the specifics of the electrolysis process and the characteristics of the raw materials, the design of the installation must comply with both technical and safety standards. The electrolyzer is designed to test the technology for producing sodium perchlorate from sodium chlorate (NaClO3). In the absence of NaClO3, it is possible to use sodium chloride (NaCl), but the productivity of the process is reduced by 5 times. The main task of the installation is to ensure stable electrolysis at the specified current and temperature parameters to obtain NaClO4, necessary for the subsequent production of ammonium perchlorate (NH4ClO4).
