Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description1 The main goal of the project is to consider the processes of electric charge transfer, electromagnetic waves and thermal excitations in superconductors, liquids and gases in cases where these processes are determined by the competition of several physical mechanisms. HTSCs, low-dimensional nanostructures, and superfluid helium solutions will be used as a model system. These systems at arbitrary temperatures, concentrations of impurities, pressure and other parameters, demonstrate a wide variety of extreme cases, as well as general cases where all relaxation processes contribute equally to the transfer of mass, heat or electric charge. The advantage of HTSC and helium is also the ability to conduct direct experiments and the ability to find explicit analytical expressions for the parameters of the problem. In particular, the solutions obtained in the theory are compared with the results of experiments in which the kinetics of changes in the density of quasiparticles of different nature in nanoconductors and in superfluid solutions, when the external fields are switched on and off. The second goal of the project is to use the obtained results to model the passage of light (flat electromagnetic waves, Gaussian beams, etc.) through rough nanostructures at the end of the fiber to improve the efficiency of light capture, in particular for remote spectroscopic analysis in closed and live (in-vivo) systems. Certain tasks of the project are to build a general theory of the passage and reflection of waves from the boundaries of nanoenvironment, explain a large amount of experimental data, plan new experiments, and develop proposals for the practical application of project results in applied problems. popup.description2 The main goal of the project is to consider the processes of electric charge transfer, electromagnetic waves, and thermal excitations in superconductors, liquids, and gases in cases where these processes are determined by the competition of several physical mechanisms. High-temperature superconductors, low-dimensional nanostructures, and superfluid helium solutions will be used as model systems. These systems, at arbitrary temperatures, impurity concentrations, pressures, and other parameters, demonstrate a wide variety of limiting cases, as well as general cases where all relaxation processes contribute equally to the transfer of mass, heat, or electric charge.
