The objective is to improve the legal regulation of the safe use of wheeled vehicles and to create appropriate working conditions. The object of the study includes regulatory legal acts on occupational safety that govern the organization and execution of work involving wheeled vehicles. The methodology includes structural-functional and comparative legal analysis, systematization, and generalization. The analysis of NPAOP 0.00-1.62-12 "Occupational Safety Rules for Road Transport" helped identify gaps and develop proposals for improving the regulatory framework. The basis for the research is the Thematic Plan of R&D of the State Institution "National Research Institute of Industrial Safety and Occupational Health," funded by budget allocations at the request of the State Labor Service (Order No. 6 dated 04.01.2023). The study is based on EU legislation and regulatory legal acts of Ukraine. The results of the study will be implemented through the adoption and enforcement of the developed regulatory legal act on occupational safety, "Minimum Safety and Health Requirements for Workers Regarding the Use of Wheeled Vehicles in the Work Process," which establishes general safety and health requirements for workers using wheeled vehicles in the work process. The implementation of the research results aims to address issues related to the safe conduct of work involving wheeled vehicles in the work process and to ensure proper and safe working conditions for all business entities, regardless of their organizational and legal form or ownership structure.
