It is proved that in the modern information age, society has received new threats to its own security, both individual and international. The positive aspects of the use of information are scientific and technological progress, development of innovative technologies, a wide base of information resources and satisfaction of information needs of society. At the same time, information is used as a means of manipulating public opinion and a way to demoralize society. This negative process has led to the spread of a phenomenon called “information wars” in international interaction practices. Given the growing complexity and variability of this phenomenon, in the context of intensification of international interaction and development of new technologies in global politics, the practices of informal interaction in the international environment are becoming more widespread.
