During 2008-2024, there was a significant increase in mortality and, accordingly, a decrease in the number of all categories of victims, but first of all – liquidators (LQ). The total number of affected adult citizens as of 01.01.2024 compared to 2008 decreased by 581,170 people, or by 31.68% (from 1,834,536 to 1,253,366 people). The number of LQ during this period decreased from 276,327 to 151,945, or by 124,945 people (45.22%), i.e. over the past 10 years, more than every third participant in the liquidation of the consequences of the ChNPP accident has died. It was found that in the structure of postmortem expert cases, the absolutely dominant category was the victims of the 1st (A and B) category (51.25%), the second place was occupied by LQ of the 2A category (22.01%). The analysis of medical expert cases showed that the leading place in the cause of death is occupied by oncological diseases – 52.59%, chronic circulatory diseases and their complications – 42.79%, chronic diseases of the respiratory system – 3.0%, other diseases in general – 2.9%. In the structure of oncological pathological expert cases, the main cause of death is oncohematological diseases (16.16 %), colon cancer (15.00 %), breast cancer in women (12.69 %), prostate cancer in men (13.38 %), lung and upper respiratory tract cancer (10.15 %). The results were published: 1 article (indexed in Scopus), 3 abstracts, 4 reports at scientific forums (incl. Japan) and included in the information and analytical materials of Ukrainian Parliament hearings and round tables of the Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management (2024), 12 lecture reports (WHO in Ukraine), meetings of NCRP.
