Head Savchuk Oleksii M., Доктор біологічних наук Registration Date 23-05-2025 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description1 Investigation of the occurrence and development of joint pathologies in patients with metabolic disorders (metabolic syndrome, overweight, type 2 diabetes) suffering from COVID-19, and elucidation of the mechanisms underlying these disorders in patients with COVID-19 19 infection. popup.description2 The aim of this project is to investigate the occurrence and development of joint pathologies in patients with metabolic disorders (metabolic syndrome, overweight, type 2 diabetes) who have had COVID-19, and to identify the specific mechanisms underlying these disorders in patients who have had COVID-19 infection The tasks to be solved by the project: 1. To investigate the state of the body systems involved in the development of the studied pathological conditions in patients who have had COVID-19. 2. To identify the contribution of potential triggers for the development of these pathological conditions (cytokines, antioxidant status, biogenic amines, components of the proteolysis system, autoantibodies, etc.) and to identify the potential specifics of these disorders in patients who have had COVID-19 infection. 3. To investigate the appearance in the body of patients who have had COVID-19 of protein and peptide molecules that can potentially affect the functioning of body systems. 4. To purify the obtained molecules, characterize them and, using model systems of various levels, to investigate their functional status and potential impact on the functioning of individual links of various body systems. 5. Search for informative diagnostic biomarkers, detailing the course of the pathological process, search for potential pharmaceutical drugs of directed action.  Product Description popup.authors Vereshchaka Volodymyr V.
