The purpose of the work is to improve the theoretical and methodological support for the formation of a strategy for the development of foreign economic activity of business entities in conditions of limited activity and to develop practical recommendations for the formation of management decisions for the development of this activity. To achieve the goal and solve the research tasks, the following general scientific and special research methods were used in the work: abstract-logical method, systematic approach, methods of analysis and synthesis - to determine the essence of the process of developing strategies for the development of foreign economic activity of business entities, provisions for assessing the development of this activity; structural-logical - to form a system of indicators for assessing the foreign economic activity of the enterprise; the problem of separating the mixture using the cluster method based on the Ward method - to identify the stages of the process of developing foreign economic activity in time. The use of the developed methodological approach provides an opportunity to form a strategy for the development of foreign economic activity on a scientific basis, which determines its effectiveness, rationality, and objectivity. Analytical support for the assessment of the development of foreign economic activity of business entities is proposed. The economic effect is ensured by determining effective directions and reserves for the development of enterprises in modern conditions. The social effect is a national commercial development that contributes to determining the ways of implementing the National Economic Strategy for the period of martial law and the post-war period.
