Aim of the study: improving of methodological approaches to selection and evaluation of the breeding material of indigenous and introduced woody plants based on the study of their intraspecific variability and adaptive response, including their resistance to climate change. Methodology of the study: comparative-ecological, mensurational, breeding and seed production methods, as well as morphological, anatomical, cytological, biochemical, mathematical-statistical approaches. Phenological observations of the reproductive development of the best forms of walnut and Scots pine have been conducted. Markers of resistance of Scots pine of different geographical origins to climate change have been determined. Stands of six species of introduced conifers have been surveyed (Schrenk's spruce, blue spruce, Weymouth pine, mountain pine, limber pine, and yellow pine). In the Scots pine progeny tests, 20 trees were selected as candidates for plus trees. Product Description popup.authors Vysotska Natalia Yu. Haida Yurii I. Hodovanyi Oleksii M. Hrachova Mariia A.
