Research aim - to provide a theoretical, methodological, and applied justification for the role of social entrepreneurship as a driver for implementing the European model of the circular economy in Ukraine, considering the SME support policies promoted under the EU4Business programme. Subject of the research - conceptual foundations, mechanisms, and tools for integrating circular economy principles into the operations of social enterprises in accordance with European standards, with a focus on the Eastern European context. Research methods. To achieve the stated goal, the following methods were used: - system analysis and comparative analytical approach - to explore European models of the circular economy and social entrepreneurship; - statistical analysis - to assess the effectiveness of SME support through EU4Business in Eastern Partnership countries; - causal analysis and logical-structural modelling - to identify the interrelations between social impact, economic efficiency, and circular practices; - expert interviews and case study method - to examine examples of Ukrainian and European social enterprises implementing circular economy projects; - content analysis of EU policy documents and national strategies - to analyse the regulatory framework supporting the development of social entrepreneurship in the context of the green transition. In today's conditions of post-war recovery and Ukraine's European integration, one of the key tasks is to implement circular economy principles at all levels of governance. Social enterprises are emerging as key agents of this transformation, combining economic viability with social and environmental goals.
