The purpose of the research work: To determine the effectiveness of growth regulators on the germination of corn and sunflower, the onset of the initial phenological phases of growth and development, and their protection from the negative effects of environmental factors and harmful organisms. Expected result: Increasing seed viability, stimulating plant growth and development, increasing plant survival during the growing season, increasing crop yield. During the research work, the effect of pre-sowing treatment of corn and sunflower seeds on their sowing qualities and initial growth and development of crops was determined, namely: germination energy, laboratory germination, sprout mass, field germination, and dates of onset of the initial phases of growth and development The most effective preparations were identified and high research results were obtained thanks to them. Recommendations for the use of the preparations studied for pre-sowing treatment of corn and sunflower seeds are given. The obtained research results can be used in agricultural enterprises that grow corn and sunflower.
