The purpose of the work is to determine the value of the yield of volatile substances and the lower explosion limit of coal dust through laboratory tests. Research methods are analysis and generalization of theoretical and experimental data, laboratory studies. As a result of the work, coal samples were selected to determine the yield of volatile substances and the lower explosion limit of coal dust for PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Laboratory determination of the yield of volatile substances and the lower explosion limit of coal dust for PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» was performed.
