The objective of the present study is to examine the process of developing key competencies in students within the general secondary education system. The subject of the present study is the methodological conditions, educational technologies, and pedagogical models that ensure the development of entrepreneurial and leadership qualities in senior high school students in the context of improving economic and financial literacy. The following research methods are to be employed: theoretical analysis, comparative-analytical method, content analysis methods, generalisation of pedagogical experience, systemic-structural approach, and pedagogical modelling method. The study under scrutiny here highlights the essence of entrepreneurial and leadership competencies, and their importance for the professional development of senior high school students. The study analyses the role of economic and financial literacy as fundamental components of the entrepreneurial potential of young people. The present study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the interrelationships between financial awareness and the development of leadership thinking. The text goes on to reveal methodological approaches to the formation of these qualities through project-based learning, case methods, role-playing games, mentoring, and start-up laboratories. A model of the educational trajectory of entrepreneurial training has been developed, based on the phased development of economic, managerial and value competencies integrated into the STEM environment.
