To collect geological material, to carry out selection and section of samples of coal from coalbed d4 in zones of geological displacements; perform research and provide a conclusion about its propensity to spontaneous combustion.

Selection and separation of coal samples from coalbed d4 in zones of geological displacements of Mine office “Pokrovske” were done. With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal bed to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal of coalbed d4 in zones of geological displacements of Mine office “Pokrovske” is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion. Based on the results of the performed work, the Conclusions were made and transferred to the mine.
