For this process it is necessary to carry out the optimal selection of therapeutic methods of rehabilitation (thermotherapy, chemotherapy, tissue culture or a combination thereof). The social significance of the planned research is to improve product quality through appropriate control, which will allow to obtain and supply to the food market environmentally friendly products (without the use of chemical agents). popup.description2  The object of research is the pathogens of viral, phytoplasma diseases and bacterial cancer of grapes, the spread, improvement of valuable grape varieties and clones using the apical meristem. The purpose of the project is to study the spread of viral, bacterial and phytoplasma diseases of grapes in the vineyards of southern Ukraine, improve the methods of their diagnosis and identification of pathogens in order to obtain high-quality certified planting material of domestic production, create a system for improving valuable varieties and clones that were affected by viruses, pathogens of bacterial cancer, bacterial necrosis and phytoplasma diseases. Research methods are phytopathological, microbiological, serological, molecular biological, biochemical studies, mathematical and statistical methods for assessing the reliability of the experimental results obtained. As a result of the implementation of the 2022 stage of the R&D, an annual analysis of the phytosanitary condition of grape plantations in the Odessa region was carried out regarding infection with viral, bacterial and phytoplasma diseases and the dynamics of the spread of these diseases was analyzed. It was established that the infection of plants with viral, bacterial and phytoplasma diseases does not have a growth trend compared to previous years. As a result of testing grape plant samples by laboratory molecular biological methods of PCR (polymerase chain reaction), the latent stage of plant damage by viral pathogens on the Traminer rose and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, phytoplasma diseases on the Sukholimansky white variety and bacterial grape cancer on the Cabernet Sauvignon, Traminer rose and Sauvignon Blanc varieties was identified, the grape diseases caused by these pathogens were diagnosed. a modification of the apical meristem method was carried out as a measure to improve the quality of valuable grape varieties and clones affected by these phytopathogens, as a result of which the Odessa black grap Product Description popup.authors Zelenianska Nataliia M.
