The purpose of the work is to develop a method for predicting the hazard of coal seam blowout in the bottomhole part of the coal seam based on coal sorption parameters. Research methods are analysis and generalization of theoretical and experimental data, methods of solid and gas mechanics. As a result of the work, an analysis of indicators for predicting hazardous coal seam blowout zones and mining and geological conditions for mining operations at PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» was performed. The “Methodology for studying the impact of coal seam blowout hazard d4 on coal sorption indicators in the conditions of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» was developed. The influence of diffusion and filtration mechanisms of methane transport on the duration of desorption was determined. The parameters of desorption assessment of the hazard of coal seam blowout during mining operations were substantiated. A method for predicting the risk of ejection of the bottomhole part of a coal seam based on coal sorption parameters has been developed.
