Registration Date 11-09-2025 Organization Odessa National Medical University popup.description1 To increase the effectiveness of endocrinological and somatic pathology by changing the practice of outpatient pediatric care based on monitoring auxiological indicators, psychoemotional status, self-esteem, quality of life, pharmacotherapy results and psychotherapeutic support for sick children. popup.description2  The work included the assessment of quality of life (QOL) in children with various chronic diseases: growth hormone deficiency (GHD), cystic fibrosis (CF) and overweight (OW). Four standardised questionnaires were used to assess the psycho-emotional state in children: Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL), Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory (MFI-20), and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ). This approach allowed us to identify a correlation between QOL and clinical, psycho-emotional and socio-demographic factors. A prospective cohort study was conducted based on the Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. It included data from 289 children: 46 children with GHD of prepubertal age and 80 healthy children, matched by gender and age, 12 children with CF and 151 children with OW. An inverse correlation was noted between the severity of symptoms of GHD, CF and OW with the level of QOL assessment. Adequate therapy of the underlying disease increased the level of QOL.
