The subject of research is elements of technologies for growing cereals, legumes, and oilseeds. Elements of varietal agricultural techniques for growing winter wheat, winter barley, corn, and sunflower have been researched and developed, as well as the selection of growth stimulants containing humic substances, in order to achieve maximum productivity with corn, sunflower hybrids, and winter wheat and pea varieties based on the relationship between the growth of vegetative organs of plants with their yield and phenotypic adaptation to the conditions of growth and development in the arid conditions of the northern Steppe of Ukraine. The application of growth regulators to sunflower, in particular "Ceron" (0.5 l/ha) and "Architect" (0.5 l/ha), significantly increased the yield of sunflower seeds compared to the control variant (without drugs) by 9.35–29.2% due to increased resistance and tolerance of sunflower hybrids to adverse environmental factors. The maximum efficiency in growing corn was achieved by the plant growth stimulants Avangard Grow Humate (1.0 l/ha) and Avangard Grow Amino (1.5 l/ha), which provided the highest increase in grain yield on early-ripening (DN Pyvykha FAO 180) and mid-early (DN Khortytsia FAO 240) hybrids - 10.0–25.9%. In wet years (2021), the maximum grain increase was provided by the mid-ripening DN Julia 340 - 1.03–1.33 t/ha (15.4–19.9%), and the mid-late hybrid DN Olena 440 - 0.33–1.26 t/ha (4.5–17.3%). The increase in winter wheat yield from the use of growth regulators ranged from 0.3 to 0.46 t/ha and was higher in relation to seed encrustation by 0.05–0.17 t/ha.
