Introduction of different in origin and creation of a new genetic diversity of bioenergetic plants. popup.description2 Two samples of wild beet, Beta vulgaris subsp. maritima L., were introduced, and two samples of poplar were included in the collection of bioenergy crops. The Yaltushan switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) sample was identified with a fresh mass yield of 27.2 t/ha (original form 24.8 t/ha); a dry matter content of 74.3% (original form 72.0%); and a dry biomass yield of 20.2 t/ha (original form 17.3 t/ha). Samples of energy willow Tora with an energy output of up to 569.5 GJ/ha and giant miscanthus "Snihova Koroleva" (Miscanthus giganteus) with an energy output of 438.6−453.9 GJ/ha were identified as sources that can be used for energy production. Lines 2202 - OT BC 50731 and 2236 - OT Iv 32151 were identified; they are slightly affected by root rot (Koreneed), tolerant to diseases, have high monogermity (96.4%), root yield, and root sugar content of 17.7–18.4%, with a sugar yield of 5.54–5.48 t/ha, to be used as donors of these traits for maintainer lines of sterility. Cytoplasmically Male-Sterile (CMS) lines with minor root rot damage (from 15% to 23%) in Iv 32151, Iv 32147, Yal 21305, Ul 30304, BC 50731 showed tolerance to powdery mildew, yellowing (beet yellows), and cercospora leaf spot (Cercosporosis) from 7 to 9 points, monogermity from 93.9% to 98.4%, sterility up to 95.2%, root yield from 29.8 to 32.0 t/ha, and sugar content from 16.8% to 18.4%, and are used as sources for hybridization. Multigerm sugar beet pollinators are slightly affected by root rot (15–17%), tolerant to common diseases (7 – 9 points), with a yield from 41.7 t/ha to 45.2 t/ha (2308 - U 752, 2305 - VP 17356, 2307 – Iv 31266), and sugar content from 17.0% to 18.2% and sugar yield of 7.3 t/ha and 7.8 t/ha, and are used as donors of these traits and components for hybridization with CMS lines. Sugar beet samples UFO 100350 - Bc od. 34, UFO 100121 - R06, and UFO 100191 – Universal were transferred to breeding research institutions for the creation of Product Description popup.authors Yaroslav Melnyk Dmytro Borysov Mykola V.
