The purpose is to create and select valuable breeding material of winter bread wheat in combination with resistance to F. graminearum. Research methods are laboratory (determination of resistance by acting on seeds of F. graminearum inoculum (stress damage)), field (phenological, visual, biometric); statistical (processing experimental data). Results. In preliminary trials there was identified the line ER 61154 which combined high yield (7.93 t/ha) with increased grain protein content (16%), sedimentation index (78 ml), gluten content (34%), and resistance to major pathogens. Sources of resistance against the pathogen F. graminearum MIP Kniazhna / (MYR ranniostyhla / CATALON), MIP Kniazhna / (MV 20-88 / Smuhlianka), Avrora MYR / [(Mikоn / ALMA) / Lehenda MYR], (MV 20-88 / Smuhlianka) / Podolianka, (BILINMEVEN-49 / Natalka) / Podolianka) were created and transferred to the Department of Biotechnology, Genetics and Physiology of MIW, as well as to the Laboratory of Immunity of Agricultural Plants to Diseases of the Institute of Plant Protection of NAAS. The varieties of winter bread wheat MIP Vilna (LUT 60952) and MIP Sylna (ER 60793) were submitted to the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination for the State Qualification Examination.
