The purpose of the work is to create breeding material and stable varieties for different directions of grain use, with a high level of positive response to different weather conditions under climate change, with high potential for grain yield and quality, genetically determined resistance to biotic and abiotic environmental factors. Research methods are generally accepted for the selection of self-pollinated grain crops. Results: methodological foundations for the evaluation of breeding material have been theoretically substantiated and developed, source material and varieties of winter wheat for different directions of grain use (food, food, cereal) under climate change conditions have been created and selected. Promising material has been created and selected in all stages of selection. The lines EP 55023, LYU 60049, LYU 60816, LYU 60963, LYU 60702 were selected for their quality indicators at the level of strong wheat and their ability to form stable grain yields under different weather conditions, which were submitted for State Qualification Examination to the Ukrainian Institute of Plant Variety Examination under the names of the varieties: MIP Palyanytsia Myronivska, MIP Aurika, MIP Stefaniya, MIP Yednist and MIP Alinka, respectively.
