Any cultivation technology describes the possible elements of technology, and their application is based on the specific conditions of the growing season, the technical means available in the farm and the knowledge of specialists. At the same time, modern technical means (meteorological stations, soil moisture sensors, plant diagnostics devices, sensors of agricultural machines, etc.) are already present in farms engaged in the cultivation of sugar beets at the current level. However, electronic devices do not interact with each other, and the interpretation of the data of many of them requires special technical knowledge, which leads to ignoring the array of operational information. That is, in production conditions, the compromise between the complexity and accuracy of cultivation technology leads to the fact that the selected elements of technology have already been tested in practice, but often they are not optimal to meet the needs of plants in specific growing conditions. Therefore, the main task of the created digital technology of sugar beet cultivation is operative optimization (increase of efficiency, reliability, acceleration and reduction in price) of technology of cultivation of culture. After all, digital sensors that identify the condition of plants and technologies for their use should be synchronized into a single integrated system for obtaining and automated information processing. Also, the models and methods obtained during the implementation will allow to more accurately forecast the yield of sugar beets (in the early stages of their cultivation) and to optimize the growing conditions in order to maximize the realization of genetic potential in production conditions. popup.description2 For effective detection of plant stress and the implementation of measures to mitigate its impact, it is necessary to evaluate the efficiency of the photosynthetic apparatus using optical sensors in sugar beet during macro-stage 3 (30–39), when soil moisture content is below 60% of the minimum water-holding capacity. The practical aspects of the interaction between elements of the digital sugar beet cultivation technology and the model for using digital sensors have been identified. Satellite diagnostics of the crops were carried out, enabling rapid response to changes in plant condition during their growth and development. The developed methodology for the digital cultivation technology of sugar beet ensures a modern level of technological integration, comprehensiveness, and high adaptation of cultivation practices to the physiological requirements of the plants.
