Inconsistencies in the maintenance systems of power units and executive systems of agricultural robots, which have different maintenance intervals and are characterized by a lack of multiplicity, are revealed. It is proposed to create improved equipment designs to increase the autonomy of agricultural robots, the maintenance systems of which would be consistent with the maintenance system of the agricultural robot itself. A theoretical justification for the use of sliding bearings made of polymer-composite materials in the moving units of the sowing section is presented. An analysis of the loading scheme of a sliding bearing was carried out, a mathematical model was selected according to the theory of elasticity for calculating displacements (radial, angular), deformations (radial, axial), as well as normal, tangential stress for a polymer bearing in the tension and compression zones using models for their implementation on a PC. Experimental studies have shown that to ensure stable operation of moving joints of machines and mechanisms operating in friction conditions without lubrication and with a small amount of abrasive, a polymer-composite material - UPA-6-30 - can be recommended for use. The following criteria are proposed when justifying labor safety requirements: safe distance of operation of the agricultural robot from the settlement; mandatory operation in the coverage area of ​​the RTK station; availability of optical and wave means of detecting foreign objects in the path of the robot. The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of using equipment modernized with composite materials in digital farming technologies. The object of the research is the processes of changing the structural and technological parameters of tribocouplings of agricultural equipment used in digital farming technologies.
