These include low dimensional lattice systems with long-range interactions, strongly-correlated 3D materials, quantum many-body systems with high SU(3) and SU(4) symmetry, high-spin cold atomic gases with nonlocal interactions. popup.description2 The research project addresses the development of advanced theoretical approaches and numerical techniques for solving challenging problems in correlated quantum many-body systems, both in continuum and on various lattices. Within the current project, we focus on several unique physical realizations related to very recent experiments with ultracold neutral atoms in laser fields and with electrons in solid-state materials. Both types of these systems possess fascinating many-body properties, which we are going to effectively study by the cutting-edge theoretical methodology, giving rise to new predictions for collective behavior of quantum matter and, hence, to the new quantum technologies.
