To achieve the goal, the following tasks were solved: the dynamics of the manifestation of diseases of corn hybrids in repeated and permanent crops was determined; the impact of modern biological means of protection on the incidence of fungal diseases in repeated and permanent crops of corn was determined; the dynamics of the incidence of pests of corn hybrids in repeated and permanent crops was determined; the impact of modern biological means of protection on the incidence of pests of corn in repeated and permanent crops was determined; the dynamics of weediness in repeated and permanent corn crops were determined; the dynamics of the manifestation of agrochemical soil indicators in repeated and permanent corn crops were determined; the influence of chemical ameliorants on the dynamics of agrochemical soil indicators in repeated and permanent corn crops was determined; the dynamics of soil water-salt indicators in repeated and permanent corn crops were determined; the dynamics of soil water-salt indicators in repeated and permanent corn crops were determined with the use of chemical ameliorants; the most adapted corn hybrids of the corresponding maturity groups for use in repeated and permanent corn crops were determined; scientific and methodological recommendations were developed for long-term cultivation of corn in repeated and permanent crops on irrigated lands of southern Ukraine.
