KEYWORDS: GENE POOL, COLLECTIONS, STONE FRUIT CROPS, DONORS, SOURCES, TRAITS. Object of research: economically valuable and biological traits of collection and introduced accessions of plum, sour cherry, sweet cherry, apricot, cornelian cherry, and peach in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Subject of research: samples of domestic and foreign breeding in the collection plantations of stone fruit crops at the Pomology Experimental Station. Aim of the research: to study and identify sources and donors of economically valuable traits; to provide research and educational institutions with initial material for further use in breeding, scientific, and practical purposes; and to ensure the long-term storage of plum, sour cherry, sweet cherry, apricot, peach, and cornelian cherry accessions in a viable state within field collections. Results: The institution's stone fruit collection comprises 451 accessions: plum – 181, apricot – 73, sweet cherry – 58, sour cherry – 57, cornelian cherry – 52, and peach – 30 samples. To ensure official accounting, passports for 451 accessions were submitted to the Central Passport Database of the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine (NCPGRU). During 2024–2025, eight new accessions of stone fruit crops were added to the introduction database. During the reporting period (2024–2025), a detailed economic and biological assessment was conducted for 373 accessions (including 112 in 2025), 54 of which were evaluated for the first time. In 2025, to preserve the unique breeding achievements of the Bakhmut and Melitopol experimental stations and to maintain the viability of existing collections, the process of replanting (renewal) of sour cherry and sweet cherry plantations was initiated. At the initial stage, in the first field of the nursery, 71 collection accessions were budded, including 28 sour cherry accessions and 43 sweet cherry accessions.
