It has been established that with systematic use of autumn plowing to a depth of 14 to 22 cm over a period of forty years in late autumn and winter, sod-podzolic soil retains 14-19% more productive moisture in its thickness compared to cultivation with disc implements. Long-term data on the impact of plowing and no-till cultivation with and without mineral fertilizers on the content of humus and mobile forms of macroelements in sod-podzolic soil have been analyzed. Analysis of long-term research data shows that all crops in field crop rotation on sod-podzolic sandy loam soils yield significant increases in yield relative to the control (without fertilizers) for both organic-mineral and organic fertilization systems. No significant advantage of any method of tillage of sod-podzolic sandy loam soil on the productivity of crop rotation has been found for all fertilization backgrounds.
