The purpose of the study is to generalize the conceptual and terminological apparatus on current problems of higher education in the context of European integration.

As a result of completing the first stage of the scientific research project “Comprehensive scientific study of the conceptual and terminological apparatus on the urgent problems of higher education in the context of European integration”:
– the conceptual and terminological apparatus for the development of open science as regulated by Ukrainian legislation has been generalized; 15 terms and notions related to the development of open science as regulated by Ukrainian legislation have been prepared.
– the conceptual and terminological apparatus on the issue of synergy of social and institutional transformations of higher education, science, and the economy in accordance with Ukrainian legislation has been generalized; 12 terms and notions related to the issue of synergy between social and institutional transformations of higher education, science, and the economy have been prepared.
– a list of notions and terms on the issue of social inclusion in the field of higher education in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and international documents has been determined; 9 notions and terms related to the issue of social inclusion in the field of higher education have been prepared.
– a list of notions and terms related to the innovative activity of universities in accordance with Ukrainian legislation has been determined; 18 notions and terms related to the issue of innovative activity of universities have been prepared.
– a list of notions and terms related to ensuring and improving the quality of higher education in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and international documents has been determined; 21 notions and terms related to ensuring and improving the quality of higher education in the context of sustainable development and European integration have been prepared.
