The goal is to determine approaches to differential diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary TB combined with concomitant diseases in martial law conditions, which will allow to increase the effectiveness of treatment and quality of life of patients by reducing the time of diagnosis of concomitant diseases and conditions or repeated episodes of TB disease, improving the complex treatment of pulmonary TB combined with concomitant diseases and conditions, and applying methods for normalizing the state of mental health. Methods - clinical, radiological, laboratory, statistical. Among patients with various forms of TB, the frequency of: main concomitant diseases of the lungs (27.1 %); concomitant diseases of other organs and systems, including impaired mental health (40.4 %); conditions such as complications of TB and adverse events (37.5 %). The following factors negatively affected the timeliness of active TB: the presence of drug-resistant TB (DR-TB), concomitant lung diseases with organic irreversible changes (bronchiectasis, pneumofibrosis, emphysema, aspergillosis). Risk groups for DR-TB treatment failure were: the unemployed, the disabled, pensioners, people without a permanent place of residence, people with addictions, with AE, and with the highest degree of connection military personnel. It was found that TB treatment was more often ineffective in: medical risk groups that included various types of concomitant diseases, including HIV and diabetes mellitus (16.0 %); close contacts with TB (4.9 %). It was found that before the start of treatment, military personnel had a significantly worse mental health status in terms of anxiety (in 61.5% versus 55.7 %) and depression (in 93.6 % versus 67.6 %). It was determined that AE, as one of the significant concomitant conditions, were registered in 14.9-55.4 % of patients on TB drugs who received short-term treatment regimens. Sphere of application – tuberculosis. Product Description popup.authors Nataliia A. Lytvynenko Veselovsky Leonid Viktorovych Serhii V. Zaykov Juliya O. Senko Maryna V. Pogrebna Valentyna V.
