The height of the lower bean attachment in the studied varieties exceeded the standards and was 13.8–15.8 cm. By the weight of 1000 seeds, all the varieties studied exceeded the standards, namely: Ravita - by 2.4 g, Zorya Stepu - by 1.0 g, Pivdenna Krasunya - by 0.5 g, Oleshya - by 5.9 g. The excess of productivity over the standards was: in the Ravita variety over the Diona variety - 3.5 g, in the Zorya Stepu, Pivdenna Krasunya and Oleshya varieties over the Danaya variety - 2.3 g, 0.8 g and 4.1 g, respectively. Also, higher yields by 0.7 t/ha, by 0.8 - 1.1 t/ha, compared to standards, were formed by the early-ripening soybean variety Ravita, the medium-early - Zorya Stepu, the medium-ripening varieties - Pivdenna Krasunya and Olesshya. Phytosanitary monitoring allowed us to determine the species composition of the soybean agrocenosis entomocomplex. The Ravita variety was the most resistant to damage by phytophagous insects, in particular the common spider mite. Pivdenna Krasunya and Olesshya were somewhat more vulnerable, which is due to the longer vegetation period. Assessment of new varieties by nitrogen-fixing ability showed their high efficiency in rice fields: the accumulation of nodules exceeded standard varieties by 2.4 - 5.6%. Due to technological methods of growing soybeans on agro-reclamation fields in rice crop rotations, the use of new soybean varieties of different maturity groups in rice crop rotations on agro-reclamation fields in the Southern Steppe of Ukraine under conditions of climate change has been scientifically substantiated.
