The object of research is the work process and technical means for spraying field crops using multicopters. The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of using technological material to protect agricultural crops and safe working conditions for service personnel based on new knowledge about the influence of parameters and operating modes of technological equipment of multicopters on the quality of distribution of technological material over the surface being treated. Hypothesis – by substantiating the technological process of crop protection using multicopters, the structural and technological scheme of the multicopter equipment, which is based on the rod arrangement of its screws in two parallel rows, between which the spraying equipment is placed, and their rational structural and operating parameters, high efficiency of the use of multicopters for plant protection and safe working conditions for service personnel are achieved. Known technological and technical solutions for distributing technological material over the surface being treated by multicopter equipment have been studied and generalized. Theoretical studies of this process have been conducted and rational structural and functional scheme and structural and operating parameters of the equipment for the multicopter have been substantiated, an experimental sample of the equipment has been manufactured, its laboratory and field studies and production testing have been carried out and its technical and operational indicators have been determined, a guideline for the use of a multicopter for distributing technological material has been developed and the results of the research have been implemented in production.
