The object of the study is woody and shrub acclimatized decorative introducers of the flora of the Chernihiv city. The subject of research is the biological, ecological features, origin and distribution of woody and shrubby acclimatized decorative introduced species of the Chernihiv’s flora. Methods: field (reconnaissance, detailed route) and office methods, as well as the acclimatization number method. An annotated summary of the flora of acclimatized decorative introduced 165 taxa of trees and shrubs of the green infrastructure of the city of Chernihiv has been compiled, the characteristics of which are given according to the following parameters: family, species (subspecies, variety), natural habitat, biology (life form (height range), crown (width range), trunk bark, shoots, leaves, autumn leaf color, flowers / inflorescences, fruits, flowering period), ecology (soil: type and moisture; nutrient level, soil moisture; pH; light requirements; resistance, winter hardiness zone); local distribution in Chernihiv, time of introduction. Coniferous trees and shrubs introduced to Chernihiv are important additions to the city's green infrastructure. Depending on the degree of acclimatization and prospects, thanks to smart design, they can be integrated into the green infrastructure of Chernihiv as environmentally functional and effective components from the perspective of landscape design.
