Purpose: increasing the antitumor efficacy of radiofrequency ablation of colorectal cancer liver metastases by developing a technology of anti-inflammatory drug perioperative therapy taking into account predictive markers of inflammatory response. Methods and equipment: immunological, hematological, biochemical, clinical, morphological, statistical methods; light microscopes, flow cytofluorometer, biochemical, hematological and immune enzyme analyzers. Theoretical and practical results: A perioperative treatment scheme for patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation, which includes propranolol and metformin, has been proposed. It has been established that perioperative treatment according to this scheme reduces the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio and inflammatory mediator levels, affects the balance of CD4+ and CD8+ T-lymphocytes, and improves insulin sensitivity, coagulogram parameters and patients’ quality of life in the postoperative period. It has been proven that the treatment effect also depends on the initial hemato-immune state of the cancer patient's body. Novelty: A new perioperative treatment scheme was developed, which included propranolol and metformin. A complex of effects of this drug combination of drugs, capable of improving the further course of the oncological disease, was determined. Implementation efficiency: improved effectiveness of treatment. Field of application: oncology, medical immunology. Product Description popup.authors Neonila O. Artamonova Maryna O.
