This will contribute to the development of a new vision of the history of agricultural science and biography, the evolution of the social function of historical science and methods of scientific research, outlining ways to use scientific heritage in agriculture to address pressing issues of state formation. popup.description2 Objective: to identify theoretical and methodological foundations, principles, and innovative approaches to the formation of a system of national agricultural bibliography and biographies on the history of agrarian science, aimed at comprehensively reflecting, preserving, and popularizing scientific heritage, ensuring the integration of traditional and digital information resources. The research was carried out in stages and aimed to substantiate the theoretical, methodological, and practical foundations for the formation of a national system of agricultural bibliography and biographies. As a result, a comprehensive concept of a national system of agricultural bibliography and biographies was formed, a theoretical model of its functioning was prepared, directions for institutional development were outlined, and practical recommendations for the creation of electronic databases and biobibliographic indexes were provided. It has been proven that such a system is an important component of information support for agricultural science in Ukraine, contributing to the preservation and popularization of scientific heritage, improving the effectiveness of scientific communications, and integration into the global information space. The prospects for the further development of sectoral bibliography have been identified, related to the introduction of international metadata standards, open digital resources, and modern information technologies.
