Computer modeling of the behavior of buildings and structures during local destruction of their load-bearing structures) The object of the study is the processes of achieving limit states in design emergency situations, in particular during progressive destruction of buildings and structures under conditions of conscious influences aimed at their destruction. The purpose of the work is to analyze the features of destruction from the action of conscious influences and to develop on this basis recommendations for the possible protection of structures and buildings in general from progressive destruction in design emergency situations. Research methods - analysis of known studies on progressive destruction and survivability of buildings, computer modeling of destruction processes, processing and analysis of results obtained during field surveys of buildings and structures. Stage II was devoted to a critical analysis of the foundations and essence of computer modeling laid down in domestic and foreign regulatory documents. Specific examples show the possibilities and results of computer modeling of local destruction of some buildings and structures, some features in the behavior of building structures during local destruction within the framework of design situations are revealed. Examples of destruction of full-scale buildings and structures from the influence of perceived shock (explosive) effects are given.
