New patterns of the dynamic behaviour of elliptical and corrugated cylindrical shells have been established. The influence of contour opening, variable thickness, and corrugation parameters on the distribution of frequencies and vibration modes is proven. The results are validated in 9 Scopus-indexed articles and 3 Springer monograph chapters.
