Based on the K₂O/(Na₂O + K₂O) ratio, the APG of the Ukrainian Shield (USh) belong to the Na–K subalkaline series. They have a high SiO₂ (70.12–74.65 wt%) and elevated agpaitic index values (AI = 0.59–0.71). The highest AI = 0.71, increased TiO₂ (0.51 wt%), and low Al₂O₃ (11.26 wt%) are in the Lypniazka granites of the Shpola–Tashlyk tectono-ore region, which are genetically associated with lithium pegmatite deposits. In contrast, the APG of the Pobuzhzhia U-ore district (Zavallia and Khmilnyk REE–U–Th occurrences) are characterized by elevated aluminosity, reflected in high Al₂O₃ contents (14.81–15.40 wt%), as well as increased Na₂O + K₂O (9.2–9.3 wt%). On the SiO₂–K₂O×100/(K₂O + Na₂O) and K₂O/Na₂O–SiO₂ diagrams, the APG are within the S-type granite field. REE in the APG are characterized by crustal-level of light lanthanides and mantle-like ones of heavy ones, indicating a mixed crust–mantle composition of the magmatic–hydrothermal fluids responsible for the APG formation. The genetic types of ore-bearing metasomatites are controlled by the geochemical specialization of the granites and the composition of the host metamorphic rocks. Contacts between granites and amphibolites give rise to Mo-bearing metasomatites; interactions with carb rocks produce Sch-bearing skarns; contacts with Gr-bearing gneisses result in REE–U–Th mineralization; and interactions with metapelitic rocks lead to lithium mineralization. Geological and structural APG associatiations: (a) in the W part of the USh—nodes formed by the intersection of NW- and NE-trending fault systems; and (b) in the central and E parts—nodes defined by the intersection of sublatitudinal, NW-, and NE-trending Product Description popup.authors Stepanyuk Leonid Mykhaylovych Kovtun Oleksandr V.
