The subject of the study is the method of complex processing of salt and alkaline small chemical power sources. The aim of this work is the analysis and research of the method of complex processing of salt and alkaline small chemical power sources. Research methods: general chemical technology, biotechnological methods, pyro- and hydrometallurgy, titrimetry, gravimetry, low-temperature pyrolysis. The practical significance of the obtained results. The use of the method of complex processing of used chemical power sources allows to isolate/regenerate a significant part of the basic metals used in the operation of chemical power sources. However, this generates secondary gas emissions, a large amount of washing water and solid residues, which also require processing or disposal. The unification of the processing of spent alkaline and salt chemical power sources can ensure their effective disposal using automated, robotic lines, which will significantly increase the efficiency and safety of such technology. The effectiveness of the use of pyro- and hydrometallurgical technology in the processing of spent manganese-zinc chemical power sources, which leads to the restoration of the manganese cathode, or to the formation of chemical compounds of satisfactory quality, has been systematically analyzed. Thermal destruction of the separated plastic-paper fraction using low-temperature pyrolysis allows obtaining pyrolysis liquid (68.2 wt.%), pyrocarbon (23.1 wt.%) and gas mixture (8.1 wt.%).
