A conceptual model of the milk production process based on smart technologies has been developed, along with technical solutions for the application of precision livestock farming in cow housing systems. Monitoring of temperature and humidity parameters in livestock buildings of various types was carried out. A prototype control unit for a fogging-based cooling system was designed, including hardware and software components. The system ensures control of the temperature–humidity index and automatically determines the optimal water supply for each fogging cycle during the summer period. The study summarizes global experience in precision feeding technologies for dairy cows. A structural and technological scheme was substantiated, and an experimental screw dispenser for targeted distribution of individual portions of compound feed was developed. Technical specifications for an electrified concentrate feeder prototype were prepared. Technological processes of the biotechnical milk production system were generalized with emphasis on the application of smart technology principles and improvement of equipment physiological safety. Schematics for an individual milk yield recording system for stall-based milking pipelines were developed. Universal forming inserts for serial milking machines were designed to promote milk let-down, ensure complete milking without machine stripping, and improve operational stability under vacuum pressure fluctuations. Based on the research results, scientific and practical recommendations for the implementation of smart milk production technologies under tethered housing conditions were developed, and a monograph entitled “Technical Support of Smart Technologies for Milk Production” was published.
