The purpose of the work is to study the stability of reproduction and storage of units of measurement by state primary standards during their maintenance and operation, to ensure the unity of measurements in the state. Ensuring traceability to units reproduced and stored by state primary standards of measuring instruments used in Ukraine. The method of the study is the study of the metrological characteristics of state primary standards and measuring instruments that are part of state primary standards, calibration of measuring instruments that are part of state primary standards, maintenance of state primary standards in accordance with the rules of storage and use, control and provision of the necessary conditions for their maintenance and operation, updating of documents on state primary standards. The result of the work - stable reproduction and storage of units of measurement by state primary standards is ensured, during their maintenance and operation to ensure the unity of measurements in the state, taking into account the requirements of the International System (SI), which creates conditions for the implementation of traceability of measurement results in Ukraine to national standards (which eliminates the need for calibration abroad), contributes to the elimination of technical barriers to trade, ensures compliance with the requirements of technical regulations, which are implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Association Agreement with the EU. The results of the work are used when transferring the size of units of measurement to existing measuring instruments of state enterprises, which belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Economy and to standards of metrological services of enterprises and organizations.
