The total volume of the scientific work is 268 pages, of which the main text is 155 pages and the list of references is 16 pages (137 titles). One scientific publication (scientific abstracts) has been prepared within the scope of the scientific topic. The scientific and practical recommendations provide a comprehensive analysis of the current state of combating organized crime in Ukraine. Organized criminal groups in the criminal legislation of Ukraine and foreign countries are highlighted. Key and additional (special) elements of evidence in the criminal proceedings under consideration are substantiated. The peculiarities of proving certain types of criminal offenses committed by organized groups are revealed. Ways to optimize the duration of pre-trial investigations in specific criminal proceedings are proposed, specifically through the use of forensic recommendations. Typical mistakes made by operational staff when drawing up NSRD protocols are identified and ways to eliminate them are provided. The criminalistic characteristics of organized crime in the pre-war and war periods are revealed. The following are specified: a) modern methods of committing crimes; b) types of criminals (with an emphasis on organizers and their functions). The features are revealed and scientifically based criminalistic recommendations are provided for conducting individual investigative (search) actions (including during martial law). Proposals have been made to resolve certain issues in the context of using special knowledge in the investigation of criminal offenses under investigation.
