In the face of a pandemic, it is extremely important to find new formats of interaction between society and the state, to ensure the progressive development of Ukraine in the direction of approaching the European space. In this context, further development and widespread use of information technologies and other achievements of technological progress, digitalization and innovative development of all spheres of public and state life are necessary. popup.description2 The research project «Legal and Social Life of Modern Ukraine in a Human-Centered Dimension in the Digital Era» focuses on a comprehensive analysis of the transformations taking place in Ukrainian society under conditions of rapid digitalization and the growing role of the individual as the central element of legal, social, and technological processes. The study is interdisciplinary in nature and was carried out through the collaboration of social sciences, engineering and technological fields, and the humanities, which made it possible to develop a multidimensional scholarly approach to the subject matter. Within the social sciences component, the law-oriented departments examined the current transformations of Ukrainian legislation driven by the development of digital technologies, shifts in models of public governance, and the emergence of new domains of legal regulation, as well as the challenges that confronted the legal system due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the introduction of martial law. These factors significantly accelerated the digitalization of public services, highlighted the need to ensure access to justice in online formats, and increased the urgency of strengthening human rights guarantees under conditions of restrictions and exceptional legal regimes. The engineering and technological component, represented by the Departments of Information Technologies and Cybersecurity, analyzed the technical, algorithmic, and organizational foundations of the state’s digital infrastructure. The consolidated results of the research project indicate that the digital era has generated new mechanisms of social interaction, necessitates the renewal of legal instruments, and requires a rethinking of the individual’s role in society, along with the development of balanced models that harmonize technological progress with the primacy of human dignity.
