In particular, the main focus of research is expected to focus on studying the problems and determining the determinants of sustainable development on the example of social and labor, natural resources, agri-food and innovation areas of the region popup.description2 The object of research is the process of forming and implementing the basic determinants of sustainable innovation-oriented development of the region's economy using the example of Volyn Oblast. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the basic determinants of sustainable innovation-oriented development of the region's economy using the example of Volyn Oblast in the context of implementing Ukraine's SDG 2030 and the need to accelerate Ukraine's European integration process. Research methods: systematic approach, monographic analysis, comparison and analogy, analysis and synthesis, economic and statistical, correlation and regression analysis, index analysis, graphical and tabular, program-targeted. A method for the formation and implementation of the basic determinants of sustainable innovation-oriented development of the region's economy has been developed, based on a set of scientific and methodological approaches. 378 scientific works have been published, including: 5 collective monographs, including 3 abroad; 35 articles in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science; 155 articles in professional scientific publications, 1 article in other publications; 182 publications of abstracts, including 20 abroad. 5 international scientific and practical conferences, 1 all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference, 7 round tables, 9 scientific seminars and 3 discussion clubs were organised and held during the implementation of this research project at the Department of Economics of LNTU. 4 textbooks, 5 electronic manuals and 48 printed teaching aids were published. 6 dissertations were defended for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 051 Economics. Under the guidance of the authors, in accordance with the research project topic, final-year students developed 65 bachelor's and master's theses.
