Working hypothesis. Two-layer charging of the charge allows to increase the strength characteristics of the sinter by redistributing the amount of solid fuel in the upper and lower layers. However, not all the possibilities of this technology have been exhausted and it needs to be improved. Optimizing the amount, size, and reactivity of solid fuel in the upper and lower layers of the sinter charge contributes to a significant improvement in the metallurgical characteristics of raw materials and an increase in the specific productivity of the sintering machine.
