Animal information databases were updated in the SUMS “Orsek” format (n = 14,514 heads). Selection and breeding work plans for Holstein herds at SPOC “Vidrodzhennia” and TOV “Ostriikivske” for 2024-2028 were developed and implemented. An information database on linear type assessment indicators of dairy breed cows was created in Excel (n = 620 heads). Individual bull-to-cow selection plans were developed (n = 5660 heads). A high level of correlation was established between milk yield and the group conformation traits of first-calf Holstein cows (TOV “Ostriikivske”, n = 210 heads), which characterize the expression of dairy type (r = 0.435), body development (r = 0.355), udder (r = 0.571), limbs (r = 0.274), and overall cow type score (r = 0.666). A positive correlation with milk yield was observed for a number of individual descriptive exterior traits: fore (r = 0.551) and rear udder attachment (r = 0.132), udder depth (r = 0.205), chest width (r = 0.298), body depth (r = 0.121), angularity (r = 0.394), and rump width (r = 0.285). A negative correlation with milk yield was noted for the following descriptive exterior traits: rump angle (r = -0.303), angle of the hind limbs of the rump (r = -0.141), and teat length (r = -0.079).
